Club Anya Contest

This summer I discovered The Greeting Farm rubber stamps and I just love them. I ordered 2 Miss Anya sets, Geisha Anya, and Edward! I also bought a small selection of Copic Markers and tried them out for the first time last night.

Last night my daughter and I finally inked them up. Want to see what we made? I've never entered a contest/challenge before but Club Anya has a contest going on right now and I couldn't resist. The contest is to case a card made by the incredibly talented Pam Varnell and then to make one similar using one of the Anya or Ian stamps.

This was the perfect opportunity to use my Geisha Anya. Folks, I am so in love with this stamp that I dream about her at night. I know, I need help! Here she is.

Front view - I decided to stamp a few extra flowers from Geisha Anya's hair and use them for the corner embellishments.

Back view - I decided to do the card with a centre split in the back to make it look like a oriental armroire or a screen.

Supplies (Other than stamp previously noted):
Bo Bunny Paper, Copic Markers, MS Glitter, Ribbon, Amy Butler for K&Co. Sentiment, Interior Stamp from Stampin' Up Oriental Blooms

My daughter is in love with the Miss Anya stamps, makes sense since she is 12 and these sets are designed with teenagers in mind. I'm so impressed with her card! It was so much fun creating alongside her.

She decided to use Rain from the Rain, Snow, Shine set. Didn't she do an awesome job?

Supplies (Other than stamp previously noted)
K&Co embellishment, sentiment unknown, paper unknown scraps, colored with Faber art pencil crayons.

Warning, if you decide to try some of these it is addicting! I'll be doing another card tonight for the Farm Fresh Friday challenge, hopefully I can win a set of the new September releases.

  1. Ahhh... yes it looks addicting! Both cards look awesome! I enjoy making cards but haven't yet got into working with stamps. My to-want-to-do list is growing so looks like I'll be busy this winter after our move is complete.

  3. Both of your cards are wonderful! I also make cards, but haven't been making many lately. I think I need some of the stamps you have.
